Pros

Friendly people, annual bonus, monthly company lunches, medical insurance is company paid (for employee only.) Can bring your dog to work. Family friendly and flexible. Can work autonomously for the most part.

Cons

No matching 401k. Medical insurance is expensive for family. No evaluations/reviews, so employee has difficulty knowing where they stand with the company and if they need to improve, or are doing a good job. No salary increase. No opportunities for growth. Nepotism is rampant. Volunteering for extra job duties, and taking on new tasks has no benefit, and is not recognized or rewarded.

Pros

worked at Axiom Memory Solutions as an Office Manager and HR Assistant, and while there were some challenging moments—as there are in most roles—I look back on my time there very fondly. Axiom is a small company with a close-knit, family-oriented environment. Many of the leadership team, including members of the CEO’s family, worked alongside employees, which created a friendly and personal workplace culture. My coworkers were consistently kind, supportive, and easy to work with, which made a big difference day to day. The company made intentional efforts to build morale through team events, friendly competitions, and other engagement activities. I especially appreciated how leadership showed care for all employees, including warehouse staff who worked on-site every day while some of us were hybrid remote. The Operations Director and HR Manager collaborated on initiatives like weekly lunches and small appreciation gestures, and it was meaningful to be part of those efforts. Professionally, I gained valuable experience and learned a great deal—especially about corporate processes and communication—from my manager. When I decided to leave the company, she took the time to sit with me and ensure I understood my HR protections and benefits as I transitioned into my next role, which I truly appreciated. Overall, my time at Axiom Memory Solutions was a meaningful learning experience, even through the rough patches. I’m grateful for the relationships I built there and sincerely wish the entire team continued success and growth, both individually and as a company.

Cons

Lower pay for the Austin area.
