Thank you for your review and I am sorry that you feel you were underpaid during your time here. I can’t speak to your specific situation, and I am unsure during what time period you worked for Axco but, over the last couple of years we have done a lot of work on making our policies and processes around pay and reward more fair, objective, and transparent. For example we have introduced bandings, and we benchmark roles on an annual basis. Also, as part of our annual review, we look at people in similar roles with similar experience levels to ensure that they are being compensated fairly.
In terms of diversity, we have also put in place a number of things to remove bias from our hiring process. For example, we anonymise CVs at the initial review stage and use tools to help us write job descriptions that are more inclusive. Our team is quite diverse in lots of different ways and it is one of the things that I enjoy most about the business. Looking at one aspect of diversity, we have people who hail from Australia, Brazil, Hong Kong, Italy, Iran, Malaysia, Sweden, and Venezuela to name but a few!
