Pros

Salary on time. Two days work from home for few departments.

Since mid 2023 April chaos started still the situation getting worse every day in engineering side. Your manager always expects you to be available 24*7, literally he said you can't expect work life balance. To take a decision manager will come with two more people, so its like you talking to 3 people for a solution. If you voice out your opinion and that's against his view then you are fired with some silly reason. Though you ask for different work or to grow your technical skills the opportunity goes to his favorites. After moving from native to join this company at blr in just 2 months, before probation period people were sent out without valid reasons in the name of performance issue, they were asked to learn new language and develop highly scalable backend infra in the 2 months, thats the performance issue. Manager will tell the higher management he conducts 1:1 but he never asks nor gives feedbacks. Since manager works from 2 to 9 he expects everyone else to work till 9 pm and schedules meetings after 7pm no matter what time you started in the morning. Weekends though you work because of on-call you wont get comp off. Its your duty to work on weekends is HOE expectations. You cant take or avail festival holidays if your peer applies for leave first. He literally asks people to share live location if you say you stay far from office so you want an additional day WFH. Every day first thing you will discuss with your peer is how many more days we are going to have job, such a unstable place is where we are now. Honestly people are self driven and few key people are self sufficient to run the show, and nothing changed drastically since 2023, still the key people makes the final decision, he is just there for the role behind the key people. People have moved on to lower or same salaries just to have peace of mind from him. This is not just my opinion its words of people who left and who are still working.
