They let you do your job and don't micromanage you. Central scheduling was a big positive and made the work in the field easier, so I appreciated it. Also, no home owners to deal with!
Cons
Depends on the community you work in. Can't control the builders, some clients can be difficult but that's the business.
I disagree with some of the really negative reviews left on this company. There were some difficult people to work with but they have gotten rid of them and it has made a big change in the company. I will also say that if you don't do your job, you can't expect to stay employed...
Fast moving environment with a lot of exciting stuff happening. It's a private company and the owners are committed to driving the business, so it's fun to be part of building something big. The company went through a significant restructuring a year ago and put in place processes and systems that have had a huge impact on growing the business.
Cons
It's a medium sized private company. It's not 100% perfect all the time and doesn't have all of the same structure that big public companies have, but that's why you choose between working for a big corporation and a smaller private one. Things move quickly and if you don't like that, so you need to be honest that it's a fit for you.
