      Pros

      Flexible work hours. Salary is at market rate. Good office location. Some smart people are still there. But how long?

      Politics. Secrets. Gossip. Short sighted management. No honesty. Skilled, hard working people leaving. Failing business. Might close soon. Be careful.

      Pros

      Perfect personal-work life balance as working from HK you won't be asked to do much - mostly everything is done in Europe and you'll need to wait until 3pm to really begin doing things. If you work IT your direct manager is in Europe and will not pay too much attention to you, so you'll have plenty of time to run errands and whatnot. Lot of people have left or have been let go so there're plenty of displays available to choose from. Treat yourself with a double display setup from day one. Good restaurants nearby and on foodpanda/deliveroo catalogs. Free bottled water sometimes. Free electricity and wifi available. No problems dealing with insurance paperwork because everything is on your own - chose your favourite doctor at your favourite hospital and pay them in full. Add less worry to your life wondering whether you're performing well enough to earn the bonus because here there aren't any.

      Cons

      Mostly all communication is done through Hangouts / Skype and toilets can easily get clogged. English speaking skills are something really overrated here - you'll experience a really hard time decoding that portuguenglish. Lies, rhetoric and treason are the way to conduct businesses here - be warned.

      Good aircon at the meeting rooms.

      Cons

      Don't expect to learn too much here; managers will micromanage you – they value hard-working and face time over smart ideas and concrete plans. They are losing all the skilled people. Soon they won't need an office anymore – a couch in the nearest Starbucks will suffice. Managers are short sighted, hypocrites and mediocre. Stupidity is encouraged.
