Great Interview Process, Great Company!
22 Nov 2021 - Account ExecutiveRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
One of the best and most straightforward interview processes I've had. No B.S. No assessments. No presentations. Just leaders & team members talking with me to see if I knew my stuff and if I would be a good fit for the team. A lot of resources and information available. Most employees seem to have been here a very long time - which says something about Dell as a place to work and where people feel valued.
Cons
Very large company that will take some time to get used to. I've never been part of an org this big. Challenging to find what you need - but team members are always willing to help.

Full of diversity, opportunity and reward. Driving human progress
19 Apr 2021 - Account Executive in Los Angeles, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Need a place to take your skills and success to the next level? Have a desired path to build your career? Dell Technologies offers a seemingly unending array of opportunity around the globe. Sales, specialist roles, leadership, engineering, logistics, marketing, etc. Great support and multiple layers of it in your role. Always being challenged to grow and exceed what you have previously achieved, and rewards for doing so. Competitive pay structure, great benefits and a culture that strives for inclusion, diversity and growth.
Cons
This is a very large company, and with that there are simply things that make it harder at times. Learning to navigate through the systems and specialty roles can be difficult at times. Accountability for things beyond your control add an extra dimension of difficulty.

Work life balance, WFH and flexible hours Not much work stress The Managing Director is very engaging and proactive Ability to learn from practices in other countries as it is a global org.
Cons
Dell is known to be a poor pay master, most employees are below their comp. ratio Dell old timers are very toxic Many people have started at Dell as their first job and have been there for decades, as a result they are very old school and act like they know better because they lack experience outside Dell Lack of collaboration between teams due to it being such a large company Employees are very entitled

Pros
Dell is a great company to work for! They care about their employees and strive toward excellence in a way that brings people along. They really care about succeeding financially AND culturally, and provide ample opportunities for growth. I appreciate the work-life balance and the amazing benefits. In the 3 months I have been here, I can already see how I have grown in certain skills and I appreciate that my leadership has put me in a role where I can find success while also being challenged in my day to day tasks.
Cons
Dell is a very large company so it’s easy to feel like a small fish in a big pond at first. There is also a steep learning curve with the amount of acronyms and business acumen, but you will learn quickly with the help of your teammates.
