- Lack of clarity on company/marketing/basically any strategy, making it impossible to effectively prioritise workload
- Objectives/Priorities constantly changing, making it impossible to get anything done properly and on time
- Culture of fear: one of the co-founders has a very high opinion of himself and is extremely difficult to work with. I experienced multiple instances of being shouted at in front of the office, and also witnessed this happening to others on multiple occasions.
- Very strict: they implemented a new 'rule' in Jan 2020 which meant if you were even one minute late in, it'd be your responsibility to buy the Friday drinks for the team (at the office, but still, this wouldn't be cheap, plus I'm sure it's not legal)
- Everyone had to have lunch at the same time: 1 - 2pm which is quite frankly bizarre in an agency environment where you'd expect calls from clients to be coming through at any time of the day
- Lack of support: for the more senior roles there was very little support offered. You were expected to just pick things up and run with them, with minimal direction from the co-founders.
- Treated like children: there were many instances when we'd be told off by the aforementioned arrogant boss for talking about the weekend, TV, or anything that wasn't related to work. This meant people were afraid to have conversations and the office was often very quiet.
