I have been working at Commonwealth Bank of Australia full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Flexible and work life balance Friday drinks after pm

    Cons

Lowball salary offer below market rate and HR even wanted to negotiate down my salary. Poor bonus. You are asked to do more then you are paid for. No training and no support. If you do things right you are great. If wrong , management will blame you. Toxic politics. Its all about favourisms not merits. Beaucratic. My manager never does a things and just find excuses to make other teammates work. Top down management decision and they pretend to listen but they dont. CBA values and KPIs are all fake and superficial. Managers usually play political games to get things done. Worst bank among most foreign banks in HK. Low chance on career advancement development. Hard work is not recognised. And all of a sudden they “restructure” that makes everyone lose their sense of belonging amd job security

I worked at Commonwealth Bank of Australia full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Very easy to grow. All you need is good comm skill.

    Cons

This is from a branch perspective. No work life balance. College drop outs and people from McDonald's and KFC work here. I am from a private school and it is beneath me to work with people like this who are neither intelligent nor from a decent education background work here. Basically not bright minds. A 10th yr fail student can do this job . Anyone who has slightly better potential will not work in this junk yard.
