Pros
the people on the class (fellows) are very bright. some professors give interesting classes but due to time constrains those are very superficial. Nothing positive about the company itself, see cons.
Cons
The CDI is a disgresful institution advertising free education and stipends for their students (called fellows) just to exploit and bully young people. The quality of the classes are very low and the topics are covered superficially. Then the fellows are ''sold'' as consultants by to certain affiliated companies for a large amount of money, although the salaries for those consultants are very low. The CDI explains... this as the remainder money go into the cost of education. In reality, the CDI is not an educational institution but a bunch of profit-interested individuals. Fellows experience numerous issues, ranging from bullying, harassment and discrimination from the CDI Staff, followed by lack of transparency in all processes, spontaneous and random conflicts between the Staff and the fellows and unjustifiable contract terminations. CDI's only purpose is not to train people, but to take advantage of smart but inexperienced graduates hoping for a better career, all at the promise of free education. That's disgusting! It may seem like a very good opportunity but in reality it is not what it seems. For your own sake, please stay away from them!

As a consulting-oriented company you can't manage and behave yourselves professionally.

RecommendsNeutral OutlookI have been working at College des Ingenieurs full-time for less than a year
Pros
Chance to meet great new people from Germany, Italy, France and the world. Really good classes with world class business school teachers. (HBS, ISEAD, etc.) Interesting company projects to work in in the German group
Cons
Intransparent organization with to few communication with the fellows. No feedback culture in management. Classes are not validated if the professor does not do it. Therefore some classes are not good.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookI worked at College des Ingenieurs full-time for less than a year
Pros
Great selection of smart people to work as temporary junior consultants. In the German Promotion there is also a great selection of potential "missions".
Cons
The Paris-based missions are often not as exciting and limited to few big companies in departments that don't always fit your profile. The management of the school is very unprofessional, not transparent regarding courses and examinations, and rules by fear. Once you're "in", they own you. Also, there is no general engagement of the management to create an alumni network for the Paris-based Promotion (unlike the... German Network that exists).

Be more positive in your communication, more professional in the training, and more eager to help us develop ourselves than giving us the feeling that you're using us for the sole reason to make money. The former students are your most valuable asset.

RecommendsPositive OutlookI worked at College des Ingenieurs full-time for less than a year
Pros
Get to know a lot of very interesting personalities and a strong network of interesting people.
Cons
Kind of chaotic and no real interest to the students. Makes us feel very much like a product to sell to the market with maximum profit.
Advice to Management
- Try listening to the advises of the fellows how they are experiencing the program - Monitor the quality of the courses. Some were of really bad quality.
