NOT for people that want to stay for the long term. Very high turnovers, avg. about 9 people per year. TOXIC WORK ENVIRONMENT. If you’re new to Insurance its mostly only good for entry level position like TA. Most people work 1 to 2 yrs and after company pays for their license, they all leave. NO TRAINING whatsoever, many new people that comes in feel fluster with the work load, hence the reason for the high turnovers. The management acts friendly the first month or so, then start to blame you for each and every mistake. Instead of giving you a proper training, they feel it’s necessary to blame you first and then show you how its properly done, which makes ZERO sense!! If you’re new to Insurance there is absolutely no real help/guidance in place by management to show how the work is supposed to get done. The only way to learn is by the person who is training you, and if that person is teaching you the wrong things (which most all trainers do), you will constantly get call from the upper management to do it properly- they will see this as you’re unfit for the position. They need Department Managers who can actually help people in their department. Instead, they mostly worried about other gossips around the office, or what people are saying about them. You need Managers that can delegate and offer support. The only real way to survive this office environment is to kiss up to managers/upper management, and this is very true because once you start working here you will be scratching your head to figure out how some people made it this far. Even though this profit center has been listed as one of the top offices in Brown & Brown to make the highest revenue, you best believe they are also one of the top PC to have the highest unhappy workforce. This is a fact which can be duly noted from the sheer amount of people that leave each year. The management constantly brings up the turnover issue in every office meeting, but does absolutely nothing to fix it or try to figure out which so many people are leaving. Often clients see this as a problem as well when they get new account managers every 2 yrs.

This is by far the worst company I have ever worked for. Not only is there a ton of favoritism, but it's an absolute mess all around with no training. Upper management does not care one bit about their employees and when you voice your concerns, you're told that something will happen and it will NEVER happen. I would not wish this company on my wost enemy. Pay is low, moral is low. There is no work life balance, so be prepared for that.

Vast knowledge about the insurance industry, the company will pay for your 440 or 220 license. If you want to pursue an insurance career, they are a good stepping stone.

For an insurance company, the benefits are atrocious, high premiums and high deductibles. An anemic amount of training. There is no training, it’s shadowing, that’s it. There is no designated trainer. If you’re new and don’t know anyone, it’s extremely challenging to try to get through your work flow. Co workers are so swamped they can’t come to help so you’re stuck like chuck, then management gets mad because you don’t know what you’re doing. This company sets people up for failure with improper training for every little thing. If you survive, props to you but there is high turnover. Lots of demand but very little salary and no raises either. For the love of god, please don’t work here.
