      Pros

Unlimited financial upside Work hard, play hard culture Super family friendly Total flexibility Pretty flat organization, little to no politicking Sales team likes and trusts each other Bad behavior or bullying by producers with huge books isn't tolerated Debate is encouraged, not suppressed Tons of resources provided Beautiful office space

      Cons

The workload can be mental at times (Q4 makes my hair fall out) You're never really "off" work, but that's more a function of my particular role CRM (MS Dynamics) is clunky Excessive meetings

      Cons

*Management is rude and disrespectful to staff. *Favoritism exists and will talk to in an accusatory way *Beware some coworkers will gossip and snitch on you every chance the get to one up themselves. Micromanaged everyday and boss is very hard to please and will give you only negative feedback. Some coworkers will keep tabs on you and will snitch if you give them the chance to so don't show any emotions and be careful who you share information with if you want to survive here. *Toxic workplace, small mistakes are not tolerated and be prepared to be thrown under the bus. Be prepared for ambush meetings. *Rude and cocky coworkers who think they are doing god's work, manager lacks empathy * Old school management. if you're young you will hate working here. *Building is very old with bats.

Great starting point, but not a long term career

Apr 22, 2022 - Account Manager in Daytona Beach, FL

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Starting point in your career Benefits Carrier contracts

      Cons

No room for growth for Account Managers in the Daytona Beach office. Existing leadership has outlived their prime and have an old school mentality. The Account Managers are micromanaged and are not given the same flexibility, training opportunities or lavish meetings as Producers. When raises and bonuses are awarded, there are no metrics behind the calculation. The Commercial Lines Leader is not approachable and is known to say out of line comments to teammates. When her out of line behavior is brought to light, she is not reprimanded due to her tenure with the company. This behavior has rubbed off on her Assistant Leaders and Team Leaders. Teammates are fearful to speak up for themselves as they do not want to be retaliated against.
