    I worked at Atkins full-time

    Pros

Good medical insurance for family members. Not too harsh on project achievement. Flexible time arrangement and not too much of overtime work.

    Cons

Not many projects in these days. Not so good at document management in project achievement. A lot of excellent engineers and mangers were left.

    Advice to Management

The senior staff should take more responsibility for the quality of project and management. Should put more emphasis on the training for junior staff.

I worked at Atkins full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Although doing overtime is inevitable, Atkins is so far the best company I have been with in terms of schedule and program. There is very few crazy deadlines and in general, people try to avoid coming during weekends. Very nice team structure, a good place to be if you have a family.

    Cons

Little room to improve; very hierarchical; salary is depending on negotiation; projects are designed very corporate and not very innovative

I have been working at Atkins full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great medical scheme. Average salary. Staffs are somewhat decent. CON: Part of a "global company" which means there's a lot of unnecessary admin work to even just to open a new project folder or gain access to a project.

    Cons

The teams are poorly managed, lack of experienced senior architects and project architects. Directors are too desperate to get the job and always sell themselves short which staff have to do a lot of unnecessary overtime to make up for their mistakes.

    Advice to Management

Perhaps limit the amount of expats, hire people that can speak the language and abilities
