Pros
The only pro is that it is a job.
Cons
The paperwork is insane. They have so many problems with their website that it makes it so frustrating for the average worker. You have to take a 1/2 hour break, which makes the day longer. The pay is $11 an hour for demonstrators and their is no upgrading for good workers. The communication is absolutely horrible--there isn't any. I had to call the company several times because their web system didn't work and you can't reach anyone until two days later. Seriously, this is the most disfunctional company I have ever been with.

Pros
They do offer health and dental benefits that are quite good and affordable.
Cons
They expect you to gain space that is usually paid for by the competitor. The expectations are NOT realistic ! The pay is very LOW and no incentives (not even verbal praise) for exceeding expectations. The mileage reimbursement is a joke for all the wear and tear on your vehicle. No compensation for cellphone or computer usage that relates to company business and or requests. Do NOT expect a raise or anything extra from them.

Pros
The company recruiters entice you with high pay.
Cons
Bait and switch scheme. They lure you in promising lots of hours 20+ and high pay $18 an hour. Couldn't contact my so called 'manager' with questions I had for weeks. Left countless voice mails and emails but no response or answer. New hires are on your totally on your own. I had no idea when my actual start date was. I was promised and confirmed during my interview with the company recruiter that I would be working Thursday,Friday,Saturday,Sunday, however upon finally being able to speaker to the 'manager' I was told this was not the case for my particular location and that the job that paid $18 an hour was only 'as needed' and sporadic (4 hrs a week) and not even at the location they hired me for. How can anyone live on that? No where to turn for questions and concerns. All in all lots of lies, deceit, ignorance and misrepresentation on the employers part. Avoid at all costs.

Pros
Independent nature of the work, you are your own boss to some degree. Meet a lot of nice people, both co-workers and store employees.
Cons
No pay increases whatsoever (I worked for ASM for five years and didn't receive one cost-of-living raise or merit pay increase) Hardly any opportunities for advancement. No feedback or yearly performance reviews, no effort on the part of upper management to assess employee progress and offer constructive feedback for improvement no encouragement. Poor communication about changes in policy Car and gas allowance Insufficient for the actual miles driven, lots of uncompensated vehicle wear and tear Overall lack of concern by upper management for the welfare of their hourly employees

Pros
Fun working as a glorified accounting person. Lots of variety and different accounts, so lots of personalities and constant changes. Always plenty of work with no down time so you stay busy, not bored.
Cons
The pay is atrocious, and pay increases are small and infrequent. They will tell you that the job is entry level to keep your pay low, no matter how much experience you have. Lots of turnover and the good ones always leave for better opportunities (you get what you pay for). Management is secretive and likes to keep employees in the dark. We were actually told specifically and in multiple meetings that if upper management asked our input on anything that we should never under any circumstances say anything negative. Now that's just crazy.

Pros
you're on your own with no supervision.
Cons
let's see, they hire you and then you don't get any work. it's the holiday season and the last opportunity i had to work was 11/14. so far i have been given one 5 hour shift a week. this week i'm not working. and if if can't work they want to know why. i suppose they expect you to be at their disposal 24/7 so you can work less than 5 hours /week. and the pay is $12/hour which is very low for this type of work. considering you have to cook and clean up and serve food to people with absolutely no resources. and to make it even worse, at an employment agency i'm going to Advantage is having a hiring event. Why would you do that when you don't give the people that work for you already any work???

Pros
None to think of at the moment...
Cons
Kept stringing folks along. Promised pay increases and promotions however the pay increases are less than cost of living increases. Finally, after waiting over 2 years for promotional opportunities had to move on. Basically the atmosphere is horrible and if it weren't for some of the relationships I created with other finance personnel I would have left within the first 6 months of starting. You have been warned if you are in finance/accounting avoid this place there is no potential for a career here...

Pros
M-F for most positions. You pretty much get to make your own hours-PTO is fairly good. Sometimes you get a decent supervisor who knows what they are doing-its rare.... There are opportunities for advancement if you are willing to relocate-and take very low pay. Some of the people who work for this company are really good-and smart and dont stick around for very long. You can make more money working as a clerk or McDonald. This is a great job for a retired person who gets a pension or ssi because they have an income-dont expect to be able to feed yourself with the pay this company offers...
Cons
Very low pay for the position and forget about getting a cost of living wage ever-It does not matter how well you perform or how hard you work-you will most likely never see a decent wage. Be prepared to turn your home into a storage facility-be required to have internet and loose at least 2 hours a day to driving you wont get paid or reimbursed for. Most weeks I put triple into my gas tank alone then I get reimbursed for. When I add up all of my out of pocket expenses that dont get reimbursed I make less than minim wage. THis is an entry level job that basically expect you to work a sales position without pay of a TSM etc. Now that they have lost one of the biggest assets-I expect lots of layoffs-and a complete rework of the business where the company will pay even less and less-basically over the last 10 years they have shifted many costs over to the employees. They have spent a lot of money on figuring out how to retain employees...yet never asked employees why they eventually leave...The company knows they pay crap and dont reimburse well for car usage and...so they train supervisors and recruiters to talk about how people oriented the company is. Sometimes recruiters dont tell you the whole story when they talk about the benefits and you find out after you accept and start working for a while...but eh its a job....you will hear that from every person you work with at this company- they still believe that people are desperate for jobs and will take anything because it is better than no job at all....This has really now changed so they are preparing for constantly loosing employees and now soon to prep for losing many of their clients.
