Pros
There are plenty of projects available and you will get promotion once in a year if you are a good & honest performer. Job security is top notch and you should not be too specific with multiple factors like location, domain, technology while choosing the project.
Cons
The appraisal process needs to be revisited such that only eligible candidates get the best rating instead of the ones who have good communication with the manager. Having good communication with manager is absolutely fine, but at the end of the day appraisal should be made based on the value that person is bringing into that project.
