I have been working at Tesco full-time

    Pros

A good working culture and people. With recent events over the last few years, the company is keen to make sure that it's people have the opportunities to progress.

Lots of training and learning opportunities and mindfulness on work-life balance

    Cons

Not much in terms of cons. The business does take survey check-ins with its people. Things are always moving along as they try to improve.

It would be too subjective to make a list of dislikes, rather to say that the company does listen and try; no company can make changes to everyone's taste.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Tesco.

    Interview

A phone interview with basic interview questions (where are you currently working/ what experience do you have/CV based questions) followed by a face to face interview which included a role play situation where they asked job based questions and also a formal interview. It was quite casual and enjoyable and I was advised I got the job the same day.

    Interview Questions

    • Describe a situation where you had a difficult customer and how you resolved the situation.   Answer Question

    Negotiation

There was no negotiation, salary was set and the start date was pretty rigid due to training.
