It’s official – We’re platinum! The Australian Workplace Equality Index (AWEI) is Australia’s definitive national benchmark on LGBTQ workplace inclusion. As many would know, this year NAB achieved Gold Employer status for the 4th year in a row at the AWEI awards, qualifying us as a Platinum organisation for 2023. Following a review by ACON, the governing body of the AWEI, they have amended their methodology and process on how status are awarded. In exciting news for NAB, the qualifying stage has been revised. This means that NAB are now officially recognised as a Platinum organisation, making us one of only 13 organisations nationally to achieve this level of workplace inclusion for LGBTQ people. Our now confirmed platinum status is a reflection of everyone at NAB. It celebrates us as a vibrant and diverse team and recognises our commitment to creating a workplace where we all belong.
