Mission: Empowering people to get on with what matters.
I have been working at First Central part-time (More than 3 years)
I love working here!! Its a great place to be due to the open door policy with the senior management who sit within the teams and engage with all levels in the business ! I work around extreme talent for such a small company and feel respected in my role by the senior leadership team ! Business plan is ambitious but exciting ! Salarys are good for working in a small town ! Benefits are great 25 days holiday and birthday day off ! Lots of social events !
Parking is not great in haywards heath although the station is near by this is not the right soultion for everyone. I found a great app to park locally though! Onsite cafe would great for sandwiches made fresh and nice coffee.
Advice to Management
Keep focused on the plan .. make sure all areas have the right resource to deliver ... but keep doing what your doing ... the people are just as important as the customer ! Fantastic new senior leadership in 2019 showing results already !
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at First Central (Manchester, England (UK)).
Strengths based interview where you have to give examples. A few technical questions at the end on the actual job role. 1 on 1 with the hiring manager (HR representative is also there).
Today is #FootballShirtFriday. So to help raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK and our own local charities, the EBA and RMCH, we wore our football shirts with pride.
The first day of our Wellbeing Week was a great success with lots of people getting involved. We ran an engaging ‘managing stress’ workshop to try and give our people some great tools to come out on top in stressful situations, as well as a lunchtime walk and run to help get people out enjoying the sunshine that seemed to have been in hiding for the last six months! Walking and running isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, that’s why we ran dance, kickboxing and personal trainer sessions for those who liked to mix it up, and to top off a great first day, our team over in Gibraltar competed in a mini office Olympics on the terrace. We’re looking forward to seeing what the rest of the week will bring! #WellbeingWeek2018
