About the Role
Virtus Medical Group is looking for a hands-on System Analyst to support the development, integration, and continuous enhancement of our internal business, finance and clinical systems.
This role is suitable for a modern, fast-moving developer who is comfortable with vibe coding, rapid prototyping, user-facing workflow design and practical system delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with end users, especially Finance, Operations, Clinical and IT teams, to automate workflows, integrate systems and manage in-house applications.
The role requires someone who can operate in an Agile, fast-paced environment, turn business ideas into working prototypes quickly, and continuously improve solutions based on user feedback.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with Finance, Operations, Clinical and IT users to understand business requirements and translate them into practical system solutions.
Rapidly prototype, develop and refine internal applications, workflow tools and automation solutions.
Design and build user-facing workflow elements directly in code, with strong attention to usability, clarity and UI/UX.
Support finance automation initiatives, including ERP-related workflows, reporting, reconciliation and process automation.
Integrate internal and external systems through APIs, databases, file exchange or other integration methods.
Act as product owner / product manager for selected in-house systems, including but not limited to ERP modules, finance modules and selected clinical system modules.
Manage the full system development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, technical design, development, testing, deployment, documentation and user support.
Support and maintain backend services, databases, APIs and frontend applications.
Assist in managing Unix / Linux servers, Windows servers and containerized environments.
Use automation tools such as Ansible or similar technologies to improve deployment, configuration and operational efficiency.
Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to review technical solutions, clarify requirements and monitor delivery quality.
Prepare technical documentation, user guides, workflow diagrams and presentation materials where required.
Explore and promote the adoption of new technologies, including AI, automation and modern software engineering practices.
Requirements
Strong at vibe coding in CLI environment, rapid prototyping and turning ideas into working software quickly.
5 years of hands-on software development experience.
Solid programming experience in one or more of the following:
Python
PHP
Node.js
Strong database knowledge with practical experience in ANSI SQL, such as MySQL and PostgreSQL .
Experience in frontend development using Vue.js, React or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
Strong ability to design and implement UI/UX workflow elements directly with code , using Tailwind CSS or similar frontend styling frameworks.
Experience in backend development, API design and system integration.
Practical experience with Unix / Linux server administration and Windows server environments.
Understanding of agentic workflows and experience with automation / AI workflow platforms such as n8n, Dify, or similar tools.
Experience with automation or deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar CI/CD technologies.
Experience working with containerized environments such as Docker or K8S is preferred.
Good understanding of enterprise systems, ERP workflows, finance systems or business reporting processes.
Comfortable working in an Agile culture with fast iteration, frequent feedback and changing priorities.
Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Good command of English and Cantonese.
Good presentation and documentation skills.
Nice to Have
Experience in finance automation, accounting workflows, ERP integration or reporting automation.
Experience with Oracle NetSuite or other ERP platforms.
Experience in healthcare, clinical systems, CMS, medical operations or related industries.
Experience working with AI tools, OCR, workflow automation, RPA or data integration projects.
Experience in product management, vendor management or internal application ownership.
Understanding of cybersecurity, access control, audit trail, data privacy or compliance requirements.
Experience building internal tools, dashboards, admin panels or workflow-driven applications.
