    Development Officer I/Development Officer II

    Kowloon Tong

    Duties

    The appointee is responsible for providing executive support for the fundraising function of the University. Major duties include conducting prospect research; preparing donation proposals, reports and communication materials; handling gift administration; organising cultivation and stewardship activities; managing internal and external liaisons; and performing any other assignments.

    Requirements

    • A Master’s/Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years’ relevant post-qualification working experience;
    • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and organisational skills;
    • Strong sense of responsibility, and ability to work independently and efficiently with great attention to details;
    • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and
    • Proficiency in IT skills (including data management and design software) and hands-on knowledge of computer systems applications are required.
    • Proficiency in Putonghua is preferred.
    • Experience in fundraising, public relations and marketing would be an advantage.

    Candidates with less relevant post-qualification working experience may be considered for appointment as Development Officer II.

    Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

    Salary and Conditions of Service

    Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes
