What's a project you've done well at?

just say anything you want, I don't know if they actually care about any of the answers, since most managers use ones provided by HR and don't ask their own in all honesty. throw out as many buzz words as you desire for every single question. go completely off topic and make up your own questions if you want. they won't try to bring you back in. if you are witty, polite, and enthusiastic enough, that will impress them and they'll want you, since they don't see that at all from any other employee they have. Being a dumb college student up to this point, I hadn't prepared specifically for this (in retrospect, super obvious) question. Honestly having no idea, I said that I had been in high school, college, and grad school, and had never planned my life more the four years ahead of time, but that I was looking forward to it. I don't know how this would have gone down in a more formal setting, but my interviewer seemed to like it. Please note: despite being an easy, stock question, this really was the hardest that I faced. Less

Difference between bias and variance

Bias occurs when there's relatively consistent error such as recording error, not obtaining a representative sample in a survey, or /and using a measuring instrument that isn't properly calibrated. Variance measures how far are the data spread out from their average mean in a dataset. OR the amount of estimate of the target function will change given different training data. Less
