The focus of the interviews was much more focused on how you would fit into the greater culture of the team rather than hard skills. It was clear the focus of the rather extensive interview process was to ensure you would fit into the existing culture of people who were already at the company.
I was asked about interconnection queues and renewable market dynamics, but not within the context of "pass fail." More within the context of "how do you approach these complex subjects."
While the process was long, every interview I had was genuinely enjoyable. Everyone I spoke to was open, honest, and realistic about the expectations for the role.
