I explained how I went out of my way for a customer at a past job. They were a COD customer whom had their purchasing account frozen by my company's amounts receivable. It wasn't the frozen account so much as the orders they placed were on hold because a check had not cleared and the company refused to ship them their next order. So, knowing that the lack of the next order was what made them most upset, I would call and leave a voicemail when I had no order, this way the customer was not awaiting a delivery that wasn't going to arrive. This gave them an opportunity to let their clients know that they could not get their order at that time. Saved a lot of headaches and kept clients in the loop. Less
