My go to answer is to always remain calm because people feed off of energy. Also, to listen, understand, apologize and find a solution to assist. Don't know if this is the best answer but it has always worked for me in my experience with servicing upset customers. Less

- What is the shape of the ping pong balls? The shape of a ball is a ball, man =) It's better if you find the answers by yourself on this questions. The key element they want to know is how can you think and look for the answers in the world around you. You should better predict all measurable values, than ask about them Less

and predict doesn't mean you just say ....hmm let it be 22. No. You should say that you saw a stap on one of balls with it's mass equal to 1g. And you saw a picture with a cargo ship near a man in dock so it's like 10 floor building and each floor is 3m calculate Less

I said I would explain to them the importance of markdowns to ensure the boutique does not miss out on sales, as any items left on full price are unlikely to sell. Less

No offense, but it seems you misread your recruiter's communication quite a bit. From your description, it seems like your first onsite interview showed promise, but they DIDN'T quite think you were a fit for the team you interviewed on first, but wanted to run it by another team. When the hiring manager from that team interviewed you, and seemingly asked you this single question, it seems they were probably not impressed / didn't think you made the cut. Hence the cutoff after one question. That said, you could have called your recruiter back to try and tease out more feedback. Btw. tedious and frustrating as the process may have been for you as the candidate (understandably!), having been on the other side of interviewing, the whole interviewing team's job is not only to assess your fit for the role and ensure they have a strong signal of your qualifications, but to gain the confidence that you will be a good longterm fit for their team (culturally, etc.). If they are unsure, their imperative is to pass rather than to make a wrong bet / mistake that could cost them a poor employee down the road. Finally, you should never assume that ANYONE will care about your resume, especially not that late in the process (that was used to screen you by the recruiter at best). Most onsite interviews with team members are seeking out skills you can demonstrate during the interview, not what a piece of paper claims. I hope this feedback helps you understand the process and maybe prepare a little more thoroughly in the future. As well, never hesitate to ask your recruiter, what to expect during the interview and what interview format to plan for (e.g. behavioral, technical, a presentation, and so forth). Less

No offense, but everything you described here was never communicated to me so I don't consider that misreading. It further shows the poor communication I received. Terrible that a Glassdoor review then allows for better communication from what appears to be someone who responds to reviews for the company to make them look better. My recruiter never returned my phone calls and was late to answer emails after dates she gave me and I had to then reach out. Regardless if I was a good fit or not, this is still poor behavior and shows you don't respect someone's time. If one question is all it took to judge me then you knew before you wasted my time to set up that interview. On the other side of interviewing myself (as I have done it for years at my current job) this interview process has some benefits but the overall poor communication and getting a candidates hopes up is not professional.
