I applied via Monster and the interview lasted almost four hours. First, I met with an HR person who gave me an "aptitude" test that reminded me of taking the SATs in high school all over again. There were math and algebra questions that I have no idea how are related to the job. There were also scientific/physics questions. Then I was given a three-page written test with odd questions that again, I have no idea how would determine my ability to perform a marketing/communications role. After that, I was interviewed by the HR person with standard interview questions; then finally I met with the Marketing Manager. Xacti is an Internet company that sells software solutions like spyware removal, password protection, etc. but I was surprised and became suspicious about the company when they told me they also have a vitamin website and a travel/hotel booking site because there is nothing about that on their website.
