Interview
Called in, asked generic HR questions, went over previous experience in warehouse work. They seemed interested in anything that involves moving boxes from one place to another and reading labels.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walmart in Jul 2014
Interview
Shortly after applying, I missed several calls from the personnel office. I entered for an interview which consisted of 4 or so S.T.A.R. type questions- Situation, Task, Action, Result. Just keep a collection of workplace memories off-hand and you should be fine. I had 24 hours to complete a urine drug test at a nearby doc-in-a-box, which took 2 days for the results to be sent back. The background check took 4 days. Shortly after, I attended orientation to watch a video and cross my Ts. Computer based learning modules took up 2 paid eight hour days, followed by very informal on-the-job training.
