The internship programme of Vodafone, called "Discover Young Talent Programme" is a very thorough process consisting of an online application, online behavoiral questions, 2 online assessments, a group interview lasting all day and a final individual interview. The recruiting is very meticulously done and all aspects of the candidate is inspected to a great extent.
First of all, they expect you to answer 4 behavoiral questions when you're applying online. These were standard behavoiral questions such as "tell us about a time when you faced a difficulty..." etc. Then, if you pass that phase, they send you 2 online assessments. 1 is verbal, the other is quantitative. The quantitative test is very much like the new "Integrated Reasoning" part on the GMAT. There are charts, lists, tables and they expect you to calculate and infer from that data. The verbal part is also like the "Critical Reasoning" part in the GMAT. Paragraph questions about business world mainly. These 2 assessments are time-limited.
Then, if you pass this phase, there is a getting-to-know meeting at the Vodafone HQ.
After that, there is what they call the "Assessment Center". Assessment Center is a group interview of 6 candidates and 4 observant employees. At first, everyone makes a presentation about him/herself for 3 minutes. Then there is a group case interview. After that, they give you a book about the world in 2020 and they expect you to imagine & design an innovative product/service in 2020 and write an essay about it. After that, you present the ideas in your essay to the group.
If you also pass this phase (congrats!), there is a final inteview which is a standart interview consisting of 2 marketing executives and 1 HR specialist.
