This was in 2012. A large room of applicants in a waiting room get called to sit at a table with a local store manager. Many interviews happening at the same time. If selected, wait and speak to an HR professional then get a formal offer.
Everyonee was friendly and tried to see your personality more than your experience.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Verizon (Cincinnati, OH) in May 2026

The interview was conducted virtually. It was for the customer service position. Mostly I was questioned about how I would handle various scenarios, for assisting clients. I was asked some real world examples and asked to handle them.

How would you handle an angry or disgruntled customer?
Unprofessional interview, and unfair. Being bilingual and many years of customer service experience they decided to pass due to many years of experience. The interviewer also looked unorganized and was bias.

Lengthy and the paperwork is extremely confusing to fill out and submit. Thank you. But other than that really nice people. They hire through a 3rd party called Rose International…. Very helpful people
