The interview consists of 3 parts: 1) Part 1 takes around 2 hours. It is an online written questionnaire focused on testing, Windows and Linux administration as well as mathematical and logical thinking skills. You will have 1 hour to complete the questionnaire. Then, you are connected with the team leader, and we together go through the questionnaire in detail. 2) Part 2. After this if your knowledge about Windows administration is not enough, they propose you to prepare for the below topics for 1-2 weeks: - Network settings (IP, mask, default gateway, DNS). Why each of them is needed, when and for what it is used. - DNS: purpose, principle of operation, types of zones, various types of records and their purpose. - DHCP: purpose, principle of operation, what settings it can distribute to clients, address reservation. - What can be done from the client machine when interacting with DNS and DHCP. - NTFS file system: main differences from FAT32, features (fault tolerance, compression, encryption, journaling, security, etc.). Try not only learning the definition, but to understand how it works and what it is used for. After the preparation, you have the technical interview for around 1 hour where you discuss these topics and different scenarios. 3) Part 3. The final interview is the longest one. It takes around 2,5 hours. It is similar to the first one; however, deeper. During this interview your out of box thinking is checked as well.
