Someone emailed me to schedule a phone call, and I provided my phone number, and we set the call for Friday at 11:30 am. On the day and time of the interview, I waited 10 minutes before emailing the person I was in contact with and asked if we were still on for the interview. I waited an extra 30 minutes to see if he would call or email me back. The person who set up the interview never contacted me. I can’t believe I wasted 40 minutes of my life waiting for someone to contact me. Why did he even want to set up a phone call if he was only going to ghost me? I also find it hard to believe that I never got at least an email with an apology asking to reschedule. I’m not sure who would want to work for a company that doesn’t even have the decency to contact you when they’ve set up an interview.
