      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at UBS

      Interview

Application, online tests, telephone interview, assessment centre. AC isn't too bad. About 10 people and they get you to give a presentation followed by 2 1-to-1 interviews followed by a group exercise. Interviews are largely competency based, some technical requirements but nothing too tricky. Questiosn I was asked including giving an example of a stock that is suffering due to the economic environment and macro factors etc.

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UBS (Stamford, NY) in Jan 2011

      Interview

I got the interview through my school's career page. When they interviewed me, they thought I was a huge math nerd, even though I'm not majoring in anything quantitative. They got this impression from my personality and because I told them I enjoyed math (and my SAT scores I guess hint that I test well in math). I was sure I didn't get the job after the interview because it seemed like I didn't fit with their group but it ended up working out.

      Application

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at UBS in Jan 2011

      Interview

Went into the office for a series of short interviews. HR/Staff was incredibly friendly and much more helpful than other firms were. Questions were mostly fit, although some discussion of stock picks, derivatives and macro-econ concepts. Much more interested in whether I had passion and a strong work ethic, than any specific expertise.

      Question 1

      Question 2
