A representative from the company contacted me about doing an initial Zoom interview, we set it up, and she gave rave reviews. I was asked to come onsite later that week two meet with two high-up individuals in the company as well as the CEO. When I got there, I was greeted by someone, I recognized them as I had previously gone on a date with them, this person informed the person who I previously interviewed, and she made references to it twice when showing me around. I interviewed with two people simultaneously, and they asked solid behavioral interview questions about HR. The CEO came in and asked where I was from, where I lived, where I grew up, what my parents had done for a living, asked and wrote down the names of all the previous CEO of the companies I had worked for, then asked what someone like him should think since I had five jobs in 15 years. The person I originally interviewed had come in to give me a tour, told me I would meet with a potential direct report they had just hired, and said I was the favorite for the job. After I left, I never heard back from them after I was told that they would contact me in two days or even sooner.
