I applied through university. I interviewed at The Hanover Insurance Group
Interview
I made contact through the University career center, and was scheduled for an on-campus interview. After the interview, I was scheduled for a second interview closer to graduation. After making it through the second, I was asked to do an on-site interview in their Atlanta office. The first two where one -on-one 30 min. interviews, the third was a half day interview with 6 different managers.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
None. I expected the range of questions asked. They were all relevant to the open position.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at The Hanover Insurance Group in Mar 2011
Interview
Their recruiter will say anything to get you in which is not a problem if you are looking for a job/change. but, if you want to be discreet or anything, you might not want to Interview with this company. They really do not have a good to manage between candidates. So, you can run into other candidates in between your interview with various people.
They ask question like tell me about you self, why should we hire you, difficult situation turn around etc., work in group setting, paperless or paper envioronment, which systems you have experienced in, how do you work in more than normal pressure. Overall, It was good experience.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Hanover Insurance Group (Houston, TX) in Jul 2013
Interview
It was a very speedy hiring and interview process that last about 3 weeks. Applied online then received a phone call from HR for the initial phone interview about a week later which landed me an in-person interview a week later with 2 managers for 30 minutes each. Both interviews went really well and ended up being there about 2 hours. After interviews I got a call from the HR recruiter keeping me updated on everything and informing me I was down to the last 2 candidates for the position and should have a final decision within the next week. About 4 days later received a call from HR informing I got the job and they made an offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Never received any difficult questions during the interview process. Just as any interview being informed about the company and having your own questions to ask is always the best thing to do.
