I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (Countryside, IL)
Interview
I was called a couple days after my application, the manager left a message saying he wanted to set up an interview but no number to call back. He called two more times in the span of a week from different numbers, the second message asking to come in for an interview like the first time he called and the third time asking to call back to talk about the job. When I called back he said they really needed servre assistant's and asked me to come into orientation and e-mailed me info to fill out for their onboarding process. It wasn't until the e-mail that I knew I was hired. I declined the job offer based on the hourly pay, I knew it's a starter position in the industry but what he offered me is not what was advertised. Even though he explained that they do tip share he made it seem like the tips we'd receive would make up for the less than minimum wage pay when in reality we'd only get a percetange of the 3% the servers get tipped, not including the tax taken out. I also didn't want to give this a chance because of the attitude of the manager, he isn't someone I'd want to work for.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
What's your last job or are you currently working? (he wanted to know availability)
The interview process was straight forward. They asked if I had any previous work experience, what my availability is, if I was willing to work holidays, and then asked about various goals (personal, professional, work, school etc.).

I interviewed at Texas Roadhouse (Coon Rapids, MN)
Interview
The interview process was basic and quick. I was asked questions about previous work history and schooling. Nothing complicated. In the interview they asked about a time I worked with a difficult co worker.
it was easy wasn't a lot to it. just the general stuff you would get from it and that was about it. they will throw a weird question like favorite ice cream but it was really easy
