it was a three stage process. 2 capability tests and 1 behavioural interview.
1st capability test was a written quiz. It had 1 question about developing process of a UI based project.
2nd capability test was to present a prepared presentation.
Behavioural interview was done with a panel of 3 members who had a set of 8 questions. They took chances in asking the questions. Questions were mainly "describe a situation from your past" types.
