I applied online and then received an email to schedule an interview time frame. At that time, I received a call from a talent acquisition rep. The call lasted about 30 minutes. Questions were just about previous jobs with a heavy focus on why I left them. I felt they were trying to look for something negative in my background rather than trying to determine if I had the skills to do the job they were offering. This caught me off guard since I had other interviews that week that did not ask these questions at all. The call ended with a feeling that I did not get to explain how my background and experience could really benefit the position and company. I received a rejection notice a couple days later.
