I was contacted by the CEO through LinkedIn and was asked to set up a phone interview. The phone interview lasted about 45 minutes and was meant to judge character, not technical expertise. Overall, it was your basic "Tell me about your self" kind of interview.
At the end of the phone interview, I was informed that Bioformix would contact me to schedule an in-person interview at their office in Cincinnati. I flew into Cincinnati about six weeks after the initial interview for an on-site interview with around seven different people within the company. Again, there really were not any technical questions, as they assume you meet the minimum requirements by getting your degree. Each interview was around thirty minutes and many of the people asked the same questions.
I heard back from Bioformix about a week after I left Cincinnati and was offered a position, which I declined.
