      Coordinator Interview

      5 Apr 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Shorenstein (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2018

      Interview

The process consisted of 1 phone interview followed by 2 in-person interviews. Let me set the scene: The job description was very lengthy, 2 in-person interviews that both were about an hour long in which multiple people described the job to me in depth. I felt like I had a good understanding of the job. 10 days after my second interview I hadn't heard anything so I emailed the recruiter, which prompted a call from another recruiter to inform me they went with someone else because they had, "video editing skills." Never once was this skill mentioned in the job description or in over 2 hours of interviewing. I was surprised to hear that was a skill they wanted (I have many years of video editing experience that I didn't highlight because it was never mentioned as a desired skill). The recruiters here don't know what they're looking for and will waste your time getting you into an interview for a position that you aren't prepared for because they didn't correctly describe the job in their job posting.

      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Shorenstein (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2010

      Interview

I got the interview through their website and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview, and a Background Check. I was given a short phone interview the day before. I was asked general questions about myself such as strengths and weaknesses and past experience. I made it to the 2nd round where they placed a large emphasis on customer service. The people who interviewed me were very nice and outspoken about the company.
