I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Opelika, AL) in Jul 2011
Interview
I was asked if I could work as a team, work overtime whenever we received a large truck.Be punctual,if I am going to be late call let management know. The Manager at this Ross is very friendly she always try to help with any problems that may pop up.My perceptions is they do not discriminate, everyone get the same treatment.Work culture is great, we all have to wear our true blue. The only advice I have to offer to other candidates is just be yourself, and to please dress for sucess, shake hands when you introduce yourself, after the interview shake hands again ,thank the manager for her or his time they took to give you the interview.
Average experience. Asked very little questions. Basically tell me about yourself and why do you want the job. Interviewee was easy going and was very casual. One interview then hired.
Relatively quick and easy, didn't ask any hard questions. Asked about my prior experience, how I handle time management, how I problem solve and what are the ways that I handle conflict in the workplace.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Ross Stores (Santa Clarita, CA) in Sept 2024
Interview
It was a one on one interview where i was asked what i was doing before and i explained according to the field of work. Because back way in Africa i was working as a Stocker.
