Applied via LinkedIn and was scheduled promptly for an interview. The first person who scheduled the interview by email was professional and prompt.
When the morning of the interview came, the interviewer called 45 minutes late. Never apologized or even offered a fake excuse. "Is this, like, an OK time to talk?" I was offended as a fellow recruiting professional but understood that things happen. Typical practice is for companies to assign a more senior member of the HR/talent acquisition team to interview a member for the same team. I found this woman to be unprofessional and just bored. I looked up her LinkedIn profile later. Before she landed this job at Reputation.com a few months earlier she had been front desk at a spa in Scottsdale! I was stunned that Reputation.com cared so little about its own reputation.
