I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Redgate Software (Cambridge, England) in Jan 2018
Interview
3 stage interview:
1. Telephone
2. Some basic questions around CV followed by 2 technical exercises. 1 written, the other reading
3. Cultural fit. Mostly around your CVs in greater depth and what you would do, given some hypothetical situations
The whole process is very friendly and got responses throughout each stage very quickly. 2 days max for each stage.

The first round was a phone screen interview. Was invited for the second round technical interview, where I was given a small project to find any bugs or improvements, and was asked to extend a small functionality.

Question 1
Basic programming questions related to C# on the phone screen round. The technical interview included writing tests and extending a C# function to format print output.
First, submit cv and CUSTOMIZED cover letter. This basically determines if you get a call back. Then the telephone screening stage. Then on-site, then culture fit interview. Process went smoothly, with engineer. They were very friendly and helpful.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Redgate Software (Cambridge, England) in Aug 2021
Interview
3 interviews.
First one was a telescreen with a short chat, and some live coding exercises - took around 30 minutes.
Second was around 2 hours(?) which was a technical exam, starting with writing a console application (you're told what it needs to do) whilst explaining your reasoning, whilst you're doing this a few engineers watch and ask questions. This was then followed by a code reading exercise.
Third was a culture fit interview, which was just answering questions regarding work ethos and team work etc.
