I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance in Jul 2024
Interview
I have to say I am baffled that this job was a hybrid position that only had 60 potential applicants and I was not considered. So, I did the original assessment, and then I did the next assessment. And I was asked to do the video interview and apparently that is where I failed. How was it not good enough I don't know because they didn't tell me. Let me just say that I went over 27 different STAR questions. I overprepared. I gave an amazing video interview and they still won't move me forward. Oh, and you will get a generic email not telling you why they're not going to move you forward. I have read multiple people say that they thought they did extremely well throughout the interview process but were denied I think two assessments and two interviews is extreme for an entry level position. F%#$ progressive. Seriously though, it's cool. Don't need an entry level job making $51,000 a year in having to pay out 20 per cent in taxes. I'm really tired of these companies that don't give you any feedback when you give them everything in the interview process. Oh, and by the way the CEO of progressive makes like 12 million a year.....rethinking my choices.

Met the minimum requirements, then I got a link to the four part assessment. Once I passed the assessment, almost right away I got an invite to a HireVue interview. Finally, I got to interview with real people.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to deal with a difficult customer.
It was a fairly lengthly process which involved the application, an assessment, pre-recorded one way interview, and a live virtual interview. Asked behavior-based STAR questions. It was extensive with at least 10 questions.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance (Allentown, PA) in May 2026
Interview
The interview process is extensive, there are several levels after applying for the position. Initially there are several questions to answer followed by a video interview with Behavioral questions to be answered in their STAR format (Situation, Task, Action, Result) followed by the following interview with an actual manager. This interview was also answering additional behavioral questions in the STAR format and answering several other questions. After all was said and done. I received an e-mail informing me they went a different direction.
