Interview
Recieved a cold email from the CEO claiming i was a fit for the role. Set up a call with someone from their recruitment team - video call but they kept cam off. Second round of talking with the CEO - who is clearly looking for something specific and just spamming individuals to interview.

Interview
The CEO of the company cold-emailed me about the role, even though my marketing background is not in Product Marketing. I didn't respond at first, but he then he proceeded to follow up two times via email within the next 5 days, saying that my experience seemed perfect for the role. Since he persisted, I responded and got an interview with their HR/recruiter. I then got an interview with the CEO, which was scheduled for 30 minutes but ended up being 25 minutes, and without a lot of time for me to ask questions. Two days later, the CEO informed me that he was passing on the role, saying that I didn't have the right experience for the role - which was so odd given that he reached out to me 3 times saying that I had the right experience for the role. What makes this a negative experience is when I asked the CEO why he reached out to me 3 times saying I had the right experience for the role, he didn't respond. I wish he hadn't reached bugged me by emailing me 3 times for the role saying that I had the right experience for the role, only to interview me and then tell me I didn't have the right experience for the role. When asked about it, he did not respond. It's been almost 2 weeks and still no response. A truly bad experience.
