Interviewed with the director of emergency services and manager of emergency department. Both were nice and seemed to be super busy. The director mainly wants you to ask questions and seems to be impressed when you can answer with confidence.

After applying I contacted the residency recruiter directly to let them know that I'd submitted my resume. I got an email the same day to schedule a phone interview. It went pretty smooth and we scheduled my unit interview/shadow day right after the interview for the following week.

The phone interview was very straight forward. They asked questions about why I wanted to be a nurse, what shift I was interested in and hourly rate. They also asked if I was willing to work at other locations.
