I applied online. I interviewed at Picogrid (El Segundo, CA) in Jan 2026
Interview
Very fast and straightforward interview process:
– Intro call with a founder
– Coding challenge with an engineer
– 4-hour onsite at HQ
– Offer about a week later
Everyone I spoke with was friendly, sharp, and clearly passionate about Picogrid’s mission. The team was transparent about expectations and quick to answer questions throughout the process. Overall, it felt efficient, respectful of my time, and well run.

Question 1

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Picogrid (El Segundo, CA)
Interview
- Intro chat with recruiters
- Spoke with a lead engineer
- Waited indefinitely for the next round. For some reason no one at Picogrid scheduled another interview. Recruiters kept saying they want to move forward with me but nothing ever materialized.

Interview
1:1 call with founder. Founder seemed very unfriendly and is possibly racist. It seemed that he was least interested in being on the call. Within seconds, i realized that i wont be moving ahead due to the way the founder communicated in a super dry way. As expected, got the rejection email a day or two later.
Atleast smile and be nice to people man! Thats the least you can do
