I went to one of the walk-in hiring fairs at OC Global. The person I interviewed with asked questions and then talked over me when I tried to answer. He seemed to take pride in the fact that the unit is so busy he has nurses crying in the unit. It was a really odd thing to be proud of. He also could not answer my question about describing the culture on the unit. He gave me some rambling answer about how every unit in the hospital has a different culture, which is not what I asked. Never heard back from him, which is good. He seemed like he was new to the position and was not really sure of himself. What a giant waste of time.

The interview was 20-30 minutes long. I showed up on walk-in hiring events. The questions were very common interview questions; it felt very conversational and friendly. Focus on getting to know you as a person.
