Recruiter contacted me, followed by several rounds of interviews and take home coding challenge. Overall the interview process was good though very, very long, and made worse by the fact that they insist on being miserly. They never clarified the interview process instead of being asked multiple times. Some of the people who interviewed me were absolutely great, however others were incompetent and into heavy nitpicking. Finally I thought I got the job, however the recruiter announced that I didn't as I am not an expert in a particular topic that's only peripherally related to software engineering! In retrospect I think it as a good resolution as I am sure the company's tech cannot scale and hence will always remain small and niche.
