Three rounds of interviews with different managers and other Application Engineers. Somewhat casual and did not ask very difficult questions. Mostly asked about experience and explained what the day-to-day duties are for an applications engineer.

Question 1
How comfortable are you with speaking to potential clients through the phone or email?
3 rounds of interview - phone, in person one that had 3 people, and then a take home small test. Test was nothing crazy, just had to put some thought into it and probably spent less than 2 hours on it. Challenged me to think outside the box with given information which was very reflective of what the job actually was.

Question 1
One million emails come in - how do you handle it?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NOV (Stavanger) in Feb 2023
Interview
In the interview, there were two other individuals besides me. The manager who requested a new hire for that role was the one with the HR responsibility. After asking me some personal questions, the interview moved on to the technical ones. I have to study the entire instruction booklet for a brand-new completion tool, and I have ten to fifteen minutes to present the tool. The technical responsible person asked a few questions at the beginning, middle, and finish of the presentation.
Upon completion, they requested copies of the paperwork, gave me a quick tour of the facility, and described their operations.
