I applied online. I interviewed at N3B (Los Alamos, NM) in May 2022
Interview
The interview was great, the background check was extensive and required quite a bit of supporting documentation. Internal communication seemed a bit jumbled, but the follow up for each process was timely and the staff were very patient.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Half of the questions were HR standard questions, the other half were specific to the position.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at N3B (Los Alamos, NM) in May 2022
Interview
Conversational, experience/behavior based. Informal and very comfortable.
A panel of three senior leaders asked questions in turn. Rather than being focused on technical knowledge, they were more interested in behaviors, flexibility, and creative approaches while listening to my answers. I think we have likely begun a relationship that will ultimately end in my joining their team for the remainder of my career.
