Not a company I would want to work for. Many reviews of this company mention management being toxic and I could tell instantly that was true. Many of the questions that they asked seemed to be geared towards what my previous employer is doing, Rather than me joining their team. It's a subtle difference, but has majorly different outcomes. There were 5 people on the panel.
One person openly said he hates interviews, thus making me question "Then why are you even here?" It's a poor attitude and a bad first impression, also this communicates to me that he didn't actually want to meet me, he just needed a time filler on his calendar to create a paper trail that he was busy, he wasn't even engaged in the interview. Another person was waiting to go to the dentist while being in the interview and didn't turn their camera on.
Yet, I'm expected to be fully perfect in the interview. Another person in the interview seemed to 'poo poo' everything that I've said I've done for my previous employer...I'll note that my previous employer is a global corp and 10x larger than this company so they would have no idea the amount of effort that it took to implement things. So to belittle my efforts is just an ugly mind. This company is not the center of the universe, but they treat it as such. They have the 'sinking ship' mentality.
They did not extend an offer, they did not ask me back for another interview and I am glad. I truly felt that I conducted myself in the interview better than my interviewers and I can see that they were just 'planting seeds' for employee assimilation, It's a military tactic for mind control through the power of suggestion. I told my recruiter thanks but no thanks. I could tell they were attempting to be nice as a cover up for their BS. But they are extraordinarily bad at it. It almost seemed as if they were making fun of me the entire time. Whatever the case, I feel like I came out a winner in this situation.
