I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Mu Sigma (Mumbai) in Feb 2016
Interview
There were 6 rounds in all. First was the Mu-Apt. It had 4 sections.
Then 2nd Round is Video Synthesis. They showed a 17 minute video of Dhiraj Rajaram about Mu Sigma Belief System. We had to summarize it in 4-5 points. Always be precise. This was not an elimination round.
3rd Round was Group Discussion. Our Topic was "Decision Science is not the need of hour". The results of video synthesis and GD were cumulative.
4th Round was Case Study. A scenario was given and some data was given. We were required to state 3 questions that could have been answered from that data, additional data to solve problem and additional questions that could have been answered from the new data. This was not an elimination round.
5th round was technical interview. Only few candidates were asked technical questions. The questions varied from panel to panel. But puzzles, guesstimates, case studies were asked.
6th round was HR interview. Basic HR questions were asked. Some were offered directly after the 5th interview.
It was an average interview. there was an online test, post which there was a group discussion and then a personal interview. the interviews are different based on how experienced one is
Maths and probability questions along with GD. Need to clear muApt which is tough given the circumstances which is high population giving the exam. Once you clear there is video synthesis and gd round. Then 2 rounds of face 2 face and one hr round
